Short: Bigpond Advance Cable login client. Author: shyde@trontech.net (Shane Hyde) Uploader: splatt subdimension com (Mathew B) Type: comm/net Version: 1.6 Requires: Miami, ixemul 48.0+ Architecture: m68k-amigaos BPALogin is a login client for connecting to Telstra's Bigpond Advance Cable network. It was compiled on Amiga using Geek Gadgets using the source that Shane Hyde coded for Unix and other varients (Linux, BSD...) It has been ported to other OS's as well. Check the BPALogin webpage out at http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/bpalogin/ The Amiga version of BPALogin requires ixemul and ixnet.library. These can be found on aminet or on the NineMoons site (below). Read the FAQ included in this archive (bpaloginfaq.txt) to learn how to set up BPALogin with Miami 3.2b (Should also work with MiamiDX). If you encounter a problem using the Amiga version of BPALogin, or setting it up, after you have read the FAQ and your problem has not been solved, contact one of the following people for help: Daniel Randazzo - drandazzo@hotmail.com * Please note Daniel may not be able to help if the problem you encountered in BPALogin is a bug. If you believe there is a bug, e-mail the author of BPALogin (look below). Daniel did the FAQ and has BPALogin running and working on his Amiga. Since I (Mathew B) do not have access to a cablemodem, i may not be able to help with queries concerning cablemodem troubles, Miami troubles etc.. I only compiled BPALogin for Amiga. But if you have any other queries you can e-mail me at: splatt@subdimension.com If you want to submit a bug or having troubles with the actual BPALogin program. E-Mail support@bpalogin.bpc-users.org * Please note that Shane Hyde the author of BPALogin does not use an Amiga and originally coded BPALogin for Unix varients. Read your Miami guide to find out how to get bpalogin to automatically run when Miami goes online. BPALogin is released under GPL. Sources included in this archive.
