Short: German magazine Author: Matthias Blumenthal Uploader: Neumanna stud-mailer uni-marburg de (Andreas Neumann) Type: mags/german Architecture: generic Kurz: Deutschsprachiges Magazin Bye, dear Non-german-reader, don't waste your time with a magazine, which contains only texts in german (aehm, a kind of german ...). The focal point of the Acta should be freely distributable software, in fact it's freely distributable games. But some other articles about this and that, especially that ... are also included. The normal (aehm, a kind of normal ...) Acta is a disk magazine. Because of some questionable copyrights, this archive contains not the complete original Acta, but a special version. If you accept a small inconvenient preparation, this version will run proper from your harddisk (hopefully). After unpacking, this "Aminet-Acta" needs the following files: "Assign", "Execute" and "IconX" in sys:c "mathieeedoubtrans.library" in sys:libs This was the easy part, because you'll already have this standard files at the right places on your Amiga-system. If not, you don't have an Amiga-system ... Anyway, the Acta needs one more file, namely MuchMore, a freeware textviewer made by Fridtjof Siebert (to find in nearly every freely distributable software collection). Put MuchMore in sys:Acta8/c and that's all. If you prefer another textviewer, make a copy of your favourite one, rename this copy to MuchMore and put this "personal" MuchMore in sys:Acta8/c. Probable this will work with the most viewers, ... I think. And finally if you doubleclick the icon "Acta-Assign" and after it the icon "Acta-Amiga", I'll promise you a lot of fun with the magazine (aehm, a kind of a promise ... and a kind of fun ...). In excuse of my crime to the wonderful english language Matthias Blumenthal
