Luckily, just as I got the idea for this issue the air show came to Hamilton. I took my camera and collected all the shots I thought I might need. I even have some shots of the Stealth fighter, but didn't have time to fit it into this issue. There is probably more image manipulation in this issue then you might guess. In all but one shot the planes were on the ground so I had to paint out all the landing gear and shut all the wheel wells. I most cases there were also people standing in front of the planes and they had to be painted out too. The cargo bay shot on the last panel had about 20 people that had to be removed. All the shots of the helicopter had open doors so I had to close them in the first panel of page 3. I added motion blur to the props of the cargo plane, but that one's more obvious. I know that I've left a nasty piece of Mecha for the next artist to deal with in the next issue. You might recognize it from the Japanese show Macross or Robotech as it's better known. Anyway, I'm willing to make shots of the model for the next artist if he/she doesn't want to try drawing it. The Credit Dept. To give credit where it is due: the road objects are from the LightWave road kit, the clouds are from the LightSky kit, and the really cool looking building is from the LightWave "Metro" tutorial by resident CLI RoboLightWaveGuy Colin Cunningham. I think that's it for now so... Later, eh? Eric Myles
