Short: A collection of screengrabs of a my 256 colour Workbench. Author: cpbj101@unix.york.ac.uk Uploader: cpbj101 unix york ac uk Type: pix/wb Architecture: generic Well here we are again, but this time, I thought I might upload quite a few WB backdrops for people to look at. This just goes to show that you don't really need a CyberVision 64 graphics board to get good looking workbenches. My system, as of the present time, is a A1200 with a Blizzard 1230IV 50Mhz accelerator board with an extra 8Meg SIMM added for good measure. I also have an internal 3.5" 200Mb Maxtor Hard drive. As you can see from my Screen Grabs that I also have a CD-ROM. It is a sony 2.4 speed SCSI device which is connected to a classic Squirrel SCSI interface. I use the following programs in the background:- Blitzblank:- A screenblanker running in the background. FastIPrefs:- A smart new replacement for IPrefs. WBPattern:- Goes with the new IPrefs which is greatly responsible for using the 256 colour WB. WBTitle:- A little program so that you can change the appearance of the titlebar. WBClock:- A smart little clock utility, which sits on the titlebar. ToolsDeamon:- Which is a pull down menu system from the titlebar, really useful this one. AmiCDFS:- Which is a very quick CD-ROM filing system, top class this one. Iconographics:- Probably one of the best icon replacements as the pallettes stay well when using different pictures. Apart from the above I am always changing stuff about but this is how it has stayed for a while as it works so well. I did use Toolsmanager for a while, but the WBpattern mucks up the pallette a bit and all the icons go a bit made. A list of the Workbenches that I have included are as follows:- BackWB.iff A picture of a girls back, nice. BridgeWB.iff A picture of the golden gate bridge I think. CindyWB.iff Well what else needs to be said. ClaudiaWB1.iff As before really ClaudiaWB2.iff FalconWB.iff A picture taken from the LightWorks CD-ROM. TeriWB.iff The famous Lois Lane and superman caper shot. TeriWB2.iff Another good shot ef Teri Hatcher. Well thats that.
